iPhone can be configured to use a hosted email account with the instructions below.
IMAP will need to be used to avoid errors when accessing the same email account from multiple devices and computers.
Note that you will need to ensure that any email program accessing the same email account is using IMAP instead of POP3.
We recommend using Mozilla Thunderbird, a free email program available from Mozilla Messaging.
1. From the main screen go to Settings
2. Select the Mail icon.
3. Choose Add Account and select Other
4. Select IMAP
5. Fill in your name, the full email address and a description for the account.
6. Incoming Mail Server Host Name is the same as Incoming Mail Server listed in your hosting Account Information.
7. Enter in your full email address as the User Name
8. Enter your email password as the Password
You can find out the information above by logging in to our web site and selectiong Connection Information under the Email menu.
9. For Outgoing Mail Server the details will need to be those provided by your mobile carrier.
7. IMPORTANT: Under Advanced make sure Use SSL under both Incoming and Outgoing are set to OFF
