Setting up Email Accounts with Mozilla Thunderbird
Before you begin
Please check that you have Internet Access on your Computer that supports logging into outside mail servers.
If you are in an office environment the Network Administrator should be able confirm this for you.
Downloading Mozilla Thunderbird
The latest version of Thunderbird can be downloaded from http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/
Step 1
Open Mozilla Thunderbird and Click the Tools Menu and then Click the Account Settings option.
Step 2
The following window will come up.
Click the Add Account button as shown below.
Step 3
Make sure the Email Account option is selected and click next.
Step 4
The following window will appear.
Enter in the Your Name box what you would like others to see when they receive mail from you.
Enter in the Email Address box the email address you have setup with us.
Click Next.
Step 5
Make sure POP is selected and enter in the following information:
Incoming Server: refer to the Account Information email
Outgoing Server: choose an option below
Option A: Check with your ISP for the outgoing mail server.

If you know for sure that your ISP does not block access to outside mail servers you can choose Option B.
Option B: refer to the Account Information email
Once both boxes have been completed, click Next
Step 6
Enter in Incoming User Name the full email address that was entered in Step 4.
If you chose to use your ISPs outgoing mail server in Step 5 (Option A) leave Outgoing User Name blank, otherwise (Option B) enter in the full email address.
Click Next
Step 7
Enter in Account Name something unique to identify this account from any other account you have setup in Thunderbird.
You can choose to enter in anything you like here.
Click Next
Step 8
Click Finish to complete the setup. Your details will look different to those listed below.
Click OK to close the Account Settings window.
Step 9
Your Email Account is now ready to go. You can click Get Mail to check your account.
